Currently a News Reader/News Producer for News UK in London. I’m a News Anchor, Correspondent and Reporter. I’m also an experienced International Conference MC, Forum Moderator and Corporate Trainer, Specialising in Crisis Communication and Media Relations. Broadcast
I’m a News Reader/Bulletin Producer for the recently launched Talk Radio TV and Times Radio, broadcasting from News Corp HQ in London. Before, I was a News Anchor and Correspondent for RT International, broadcasting mainly from their Moscow studio where I presented and reported on international breaking news and generic news stories of the day. I covered events like Brexit, the Syrian conflict, world elections, disasters, the 2018 World Cup and international politics, to name but a few.
I began my career at the BBC as a producer, reporter and presenter simultaneously. I worked for several National, Regional and local BBC networks and across factual, entertainment, current affairs and news genres in all media – BBC Radio 4, BBC Wales, BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra, BBC 5 Live, BBC Drama, BBC News, BBC Three, BBC Business and BBC Asian Network.
As well as presenting and reporting for mainstream broadcasters and platforms I have been the lead host for a variety of programmes across niche channels such as Arise Networks, IPSTV and Motorvision.
Conference host and moderator
I chair conferences, conduct interviews, facilitate break-out meetings, moderate political and topical debates and panels and host awards ceremonies. As a News Anchor I’ve had to present and structure numerous live, multi-contributor debates covering topics and stories ranging from Privacy Law and Social Media to the rise of the Right in a Post-Brexit Europe.
Media and Communications Trainer and Consultant
I’ve developed, written and implemented numerous media and communications programmes for many individuals and organisations:
NATO (HQ ARRC – Allied Rapid Reaction Corps)
Created and led first formal, internal and external social media campaign for the NATO headquarters, UK. Recruited and overlooked film crew and coordinated military personnel for duration of project. Outcome was hugely successful in transforming military outlook on how social media campaigns can change cultural and organisational attitudes.
Royal Navy (HMS Sultan – Defence School of Marine Engineering)
Creation and implementation of a new Equality & Diversity course for delivery at Phase II training school. Recruited and led creative team and film crew. Sessions included creating blended media products as teaching tools for young recruits requiring branding, innovation and problem solving.
Corporate, Commercial and Voiceover
My corporate work has allowed me to star in adverts and commercial ventures including Samsung Galaxy “The Beginning”, Aardman Animations, Flybe and Millicom.
I’ve managed to build a reputation in the voiceover world, and I’m currently the voice for one of the largest tech companies in the world, Yandex, numerous educational programmes and campaigns including the last Durex campaign in the UK!
